Groundworks created a vision for the 21st century for the treasured historic landmark, the Van Landingham Estate, in Plaza-Midwood. The property had been neglected for years and was in decline. Groundworks created a landscape experience that evokes the sense of arrival, sanctuary, and history. The Strollway serves as the main pedestrian thread flowing through the landscape connecting the historic with the contemporary. The Van Landingham Estate was featured on the 2021 Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association Home and Garden tour.
