The project includes both a renovation and expansion of the columbarium garden on the church campus. The design is organized around a trinity of existing deodar cedars. Garden gates within groves of trees welcome the visitor into a sacred space. New columbarium stone walls form the central spine of the expansion. Seating areas provide quiet areas for reflection. Undulating berms planted with a variety of evergreens and flowering plants offer a sense of enclosure and privacy. Collaborator: Aubrey Springer Architect.
